Teresa Quick Davis

Teresa Quick Davis, age 70 of Mt. Olive, went to be with Jesus on May 6, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those she loved most. She is preceded in death by her father, Cecil Quick. Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Randy Davis; children, Jamie Byrum(Austin), Jason Byrd (Jennifer), Amy Coshatt, Lindsay Jones (Jermaine) and Zachary Davis (Lindsey); beloved grandchildren, Austin Morris, Abi Coshatt, Savannah Davis, Parker Davis, Easton Davis, Kayla Byrd, Jacob Byrd, Haydn Brewster, Emerson Brewster, Ben Byrum, Kathryn Byrum and Megan Batten; great-grandchildren, Elijah Batten and Ella Batten; mother, Dorothy Quick; siblings Mike Quick (Anita), Pam Wilkinson (Gene), Dawn Baird (Eddie) and Neal Quick (Cynthia); mother-in-law, Carolyn Woods; special four-legged friend, Zeus as well as a host of nieces and nephews and extended family members. She was known for her sass, her honesty, and her strong personality. Her family might even say a little bossy at times. She never hesitated to speak her mind and had a way of keeping everyone on their toes. She was deeply devoted to her children. No matter the circumstance, she stood beside them with unconditional love and support. Her grandchildren, who affectionately referred to her as “Nannie”, held an especially treasured place in her heart, and she lived to spoil them every chance she got. She loved traveling, especially trips to the beach and the mountains, where she found peace, joy, and time with family. She had an eye for decorating and creating a beautiful home. Her vision often meant her husband Randy always had another project waiting for him — something they shared together throughout the years. Christmas was her favorite time of year. There was no such thing as too many decorations. She was the kind of person who never said no when someone needed help. Family, friends, neighbors, or strangers — she showed up for people without hesitation and gave generously of herself. She leaves behind a family who will forever miss her sharp wit, strong spirit, endless love, and the unforgettable presence she brought into every room. Though her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, her love, laughter, and infectious smile will live on in all who knew and loved her. Services to honor her life will be held at Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 2pm. The family will receive guests for one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Morris Cemetery.
