Jimmy Hamilton Bryant

Jimmy Hamilton Bryant, 74, of Pinson, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2025, surrounded by the family who loved him with their whole hearts. Born on April 11, 1951, Jimmy lived a life rooted in loyalty, laughter, and the simple joys that make a man truly rich. He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda, his sweetheart of 54 years, who stood beside him through every chapter of life. He leaves behind his daughter Tracy (William), who loved him deeply. Jimmy was preceded in death by his son, Dennis, who passed earlier this year; Dennis’s wife Melissa remains a treasured part of the family. Jimmy is also survived by his sister Lisa (Jimmy) Hagy and his brother Danny Bryant. He was preceded in death by his sister Vanessa McCombs and by his parents, Rev. William H. Bryant and Virgie Bryant, who welcomed him home with open arms. Jimmy was proud of his grandchildren — Cayla, Kansas, Kamron, Chase, and Drew — and absolutely delighted in his three great-grandchildren. His grandchildren were truly the apple of his eye, and he loved each one with a special tenderness all his own. A true Alabama man, Jimmy rarely missed a chance to cheer on the Crimson Tide. When he was in good health, he lived for the outdoors — hunting, fishing, gardening, and riding his motorcycle whenever the day allowed. He also loved getting away to the beach, letting the warm sun and salty breeze settle his spirit. Jimmy worked hard throughout his life and retired from Lansing Building Products in Birmingham, Alabama, where he built friendships, earned respect, and left behind a legacy of dedication and reliability. He was a lifelong lover of music, proudly passing that gift down to his children and grandchildren — a part of him that will continue to echo through every generation. Jimmy will be remembered for his steady presence, hardworking hands, warm laugh, and the quiet, unwavering way he loved his family. His strength, his stories, and his gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. Services to honor Jimmy's life will be held at Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 2pm. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service time. Jimmy will be laid to rest at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery in Pinson.
