Thomas Edward Glenn Sr.

August 29, 1943 - March 14, 2022

Thomas Edward Glenn, Sr. (Big Tommy) age 78 of Morris, Alabama passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Tommy was born on August 29, 1943 to the late Hugh Glenn Sr and Francis Glenn. He was a graduate of Mortimer Jordan High School. Tommy served in the Navy aboard the USS Enterprise and upon discharge joined the family business of residential construction. Tommy loved to travel and camp with his late wife of 59 ½ years Billie Faye and continued to enjoy camping after Billie’s passing with their wonderful friends. Tommy enjoyed anything that involved cars from racing cars to antique car shows. Tommy was a loving father to his two children Thomas Edward Glenn, Jr. and Angela Marshea Glenn. He was the greatest Pop to his three grandchildren, Makensie Nicole Glenn, Madison Lucille Glenn and Sawyer Hart Dyer. Tommy is survived by his children, Thomas Edward Glenn, Jr, and Angela Marshea Glenn; three grandchildren, Makensie, Madison, and Sawyer; brothers Johnny (Kaye), Ed (Deb), Kenneth (Rosemary), Robert (Bonita) and many, many friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his loving wife Billie Faye, his parents Hugh and Francis Glenn, his brother Drennen Glenn and sister Martha Able. Visitation Thursday, March 17, at 12:00pm at Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home with services to follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be at Glennwood Baptist Church, Morris Alabama.
