Lottie Swann Fines

August 16, 1934 - March 8, 2022

Lottie Swann Fines, Age 87, of Mt. Olive AL., peacefully went to be with The Lord March 8, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James Nola Fines, her son, Richard Albert Fines, her parents, Adolphus and Ruby Swann, three brothers and one sister. Lottie was a member of Mt. Olive First Baptist Church from age five. She was recognized at one time as the longest living member in the church in her senior years. She loved church activities and always volunteered to help feed families in need and to decorate for Christmas Season. She also loved her flowers, and she had a green thumb. She lined the yard with Iris's and could grow anything. She was a faithful homemaker and worked part time as a Florist. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Fines Elkins (Gary) and her daughter Sherrie Fines Townes (Chris), eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, as well as her sister, Betty Swann Fines. Visitation will be at Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 10, 2022, with funeral services following at 11:00 AM with Bro.Thomas Graves officiating. The family would like to thank all of the care givers at Monarch Place in Hanceville for so lovingly caring for her as well as Susan Eadie in the many days before she went to assisted living.
