Imogene Harrison

July 8, 1934 - November 22, 2021

Imogene Harrison, 87 of Gardendale passed away on November 22, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Imogene was a member of First Baptist Gardendale and the Goodwill Sunday School class. She also owned and operated Faith Bookstore in Gardendale for over 27 years. Her hobbies and passions included gardening, music, reading and family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Alan “Spook” Harrison. Survivors include her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 69 years, Jerry; their daughters, Janet (Larry) Ezekiel, Terri (Eddie) Culpepper and Lisa (Bobby Michael) Loggins; seven grandchildren, Blake (Lauren) Ezekiel, Lacey Ezekiel, Kristen (Joel) Huffstutler, Brent (Monica) Culpepper, Katie (Kyle) Reno, Kara (Patrick) Kelley and Alan (Brandi) Loggins; thirteen great grandchildren and one sister, Sara Storey. Imogene will always be remembered as a beautiful, sweet lady that loved Jesus, her husband and family with all her heart. Her life and legacy are an inspiration to all that knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 26th beginning at 1PM at Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home with Chapel Services starting at 2PM and burial to follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
