Terry Ann Hale

Terry Ann Hale, age 66, of Mt. Olive passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 28, 1957 to Glenn and Sophia Arrington in Fort Lewis, Washington. She met the love of her life and husband of 46 years, Mark Hale, while in High School. Together they created a beautiful Christ centered marriage and family. She was a loving mother of two sons, Dustin and Jered Hale, mother-in-law to Mallory and Alicia Hale, and the world's greatest GranGran to her six grandchildren Brodie, Blayne, Avery, Blake, Aiden and Adalyn. One of Terry's greatest joys in life was being a GranGran. She loved her grands fiercely and never missed the opportunity to be their biggest cheerleader, whether that was in the stands for a wrestling match, sidelines at the football game, auditorium for a cheer competition, gym for awards day. She was always there for the big things and the small things. Most importantly she instilled the love of God in each of them and reminded them that God created them each with a purpose. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Mark Hale; her mother, Sophia Arrington; two sons, Dustin Hale (Mallory), Jered Hale (Alicia); six grandchildren, Brodie, Blayne, Avery, Blake, Aiden and Adalyn Hale; two sisters, Vickie LeCroy and Cindy Frederick and a brother, Jason (LaLane) Arrington. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Glenn Arrington; brother, Dale Arrington and brother-in-law, Jerry LeCroy. To family and friends Terry would be described as loving, loyal, generous and Godly. She was loyal to her family and friends, and her commitment to her faith. She had a deep love for the Lord and was always willing to share her faith with others. She left a beautiful legacy and a footprint on every heart who was blessed to have known her. She will be deeply missed by all. Celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home, Kerry Turner officiating; burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
